Bio

Paul Morin is an Award winning  pianist, composer and artist.

As a pianist Paul has performed in concert halls in the United States and South America. Recent performances include Steinway Hall NYC, United Nations, Loewe Theater, Tenri Cultural Institute, and the Cultural House in Ecuador.

As a composer Paul has worked on award winning feature films, documentaries, short films, and art videos. The films he has composed for have recently been seen at theaters and film festivals thought the country. Selected film festivals include: Queens International Film Festivals at the Museum of the Moving Image, Soho International Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival, Hamilton Film Festival, Kansas International Film Festival, Thin Line Film Festival, Palm Springs LGBQT Film Festival, Palm Springs LGBQT Film Festival, San Antonio LGBT International Film Festival, Oxford Film Festival and Northwest Fest.

He released his first record for solo piano in 2011, “Succession of Images” and in 2017 he released a chamber music EP
“Hope.”

As an artist Paul’s art works have been displayed in museums and gallerys through out the united states. During his solo show at Spectrum Gallery NYC in 2014 the NY Press wrote, “Paul Morin takes visitors on a trip though time with music and sound.” Other exhibitions in museums and gallery’s include The Aviation Museum, Ward- Nasse Gallery, The Gallery at Logos, Art Bar and Port Jeff Village Center.

Being an avid educator, Paul implements master classes in New York and South America. He recently taught a master class at the Performing Arts Conservatory of New York and The Cultural House of Quevedo in Ecuador. He has also been an adjunct-instructor at New York University. Paul holds a Masters Degree in piano performance from New York University where he studied piano under Martin Canin and composition under Justin Dello Joio and a Bachelor Degree in Music from Stony Brook University studying piano under Christina Dahl.
